FilmingSince opening, the EDF Energy London Eye has appeared in many top feature films including Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Wimbledon, Thunderbirds, Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream, and hugely successful TV programmes such as The Simpsons, Doctor Who, and The Apprentice to mention only a few.

At a one-off event in 2007, a 100-ft model of the comic character the Silver Surfer was attached to the centre of the wheel to celebrate the international launch of the film Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer.
